This project started with ‘great bones’, beautiful timber floors hidden beneath the carpet, and quality black marble flooring in a dated space. Nature was brought inside with laser cut tree motif room dividers, understated MDF joinery, elegant B&B Italia furniture, and Japanese-influenced dark stained timber floors. The preference was for retaining older features, embracing the past, rather than dismissing it.
