The project was 17,000 m2 office fit out, over six floors of an 11-storey new building with four three-storey atrium spaces. It required a functional space for 850 staff to use as offices, meeting spaces, workshops, labs, and technical spaces including 24-hour weather monitoring and public education. With inspiration from nature, futuristic, stylised, organic forms, were developed into room pods defined by timber stud frames and translucent screens, internal winter gardens, and natural light flooding the space.
